Program Overview
Program Goal
The overarching goal of our iSTEM program evolves progressively over the course of four years, each phase building upon the last to foster comprehensive skill development, and empower students to explore, innovate and excel in STEM disciplines. In the inaugural year, students will be introduced to and apply the fundamental principles of engineering through a curiosity-driven approach to problem solving. Year two delves deeper into practical application through hands-on building exercises, collaborative projects, an introduction to robotics and breadboard operation, equipping students with the tools to bring their ideas to life. Moving into year three, the focus shifts towards practical applications of STEM knowledge by introducing environmental engineering, fostering innovation in design mechanisms and tackling large-scale projects that address real-world challenges. Finally, in the fourth year, our students will embark on a culmination of their learning journey, engaging in business design problems, completing projects that require creative and critical thinking, and culminating their experience with the exploration of cutting-edge technologies such as underwater robots and drones, preparing them for the dynamic demands of the modern STEM landscape. Throughout this progressive journey, our overarching goal remains to inspire and prepare the next generation of innovators and leaders in STEM.
